Yes. Inboard brakes. Not like today in rim area

Why modern (f1) cars dropped this solution?

Carbon rotors are light, and rear packaging for aero reasons means it's better to keep it in the wheel rim.

I would say let them race but the risk of crashing and wasting a good 1-2 is so high, it's also too early to be making Sainz move out of the way with team orders. Rock and a hard place. With my logical hat on I'd say tell them to hold position. The team result is the most important thing

Austria will most likely be the choice for the 3rd unit but I'm wondering where they will take the penalty. Monza would be the obvious choice as a power sensitive track but a) home race and b) it's difficult to overtake there. It all hinges on what track replaces Russia then because Singapore is also a bad place to take a penalty

All this is also complicated by the ERS upgrades and when exactly they'll arrive

Suppousing Max can't catch through normal means (in which case i would advise the one with more pace at the time to get ahead), i would advise them to drive with a good judgement but let them do it.

Singapore can be nice due to the 100% SC rate...
France or Belgium might be the best pick.

These older works of art that are raced and damaged doing what they were maed to do- is there any entity that is/can still produce the replacement parts to get them back up and running, or are they gone for ever?

It would be so sad if they had to stop showing them in their element .

Absolutely every part / spare in the world is possible to be made.

It's a matter of pouring more money into the hole.

When someone has a historic Ferrari F1 and gets it to run in the historic Monaco GP, probably he is not doing it in a budget.
