Ferrari F1-75

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Lovely to look at just visually! Utterly unique from what we’ve seen thus far and utterly perplexing! I don’t think I’ll sleep for the next week waiting for all the tech analysis’ to drop 8)

Looks wise, I think its lived up to the hype.

Nose, sidepods, rear, all pushed to the extreme vs the others thus far.

Hope its as fast as it looks.

those side "tubes" on the sidepods remind me on the Acer ducts..

Also details around the front of the floors are hidden it seems.

I didn't realise late 2000s-style roll hoop horns were legal.

Those are strakes of the floor inlet on the other side.

Front wing very simple at this moment, nose rounded like the Williams but with a pointy tip.
Sidepods will be the point of discussion like they were once the photos leaked.

Boy... those side pods are a sight to behold! Something very unique going on between them, so to speak!

... and Jean Alesi really wasn't kidding when he said the front of the car looked quite thin and narrow from the front. Certainly a unique interpretation of the nose.

Not quite sure what you see; the sidepods are ginormous.

That Ferrari looks wild! I wonder if that pointy nose can be easily copied by others (if beneficial).

Back in 2017 they puzzled us all with the mid-wing concept. At the time even Adrian Newey said he didn't understand the concept... ended up being followed by the man himself and others 8) Could be the same with these sidepods

Bravo Ferrari, for being bold, hope it pays out :!:

Very nice looking car especially when viewing it from the front. =D>

I am actually most impressed not with the side pods, but on top of the engine cover going to wards the rear wing. I think this is the most "flat" and vacuous I have seen this area on any recent car.

From the top down probably but they have a crazy concave taper going on at the back
