What is going on with Danny Ric???

Quite shameless of Carlos to say he missed pole because of the reds. He was nowhere while Charles was on a lap that would have made the gap between them look quite bad for Carlos!

Cant see Merc even being in contention for the race today.

Ferrari will do typical Ferrari, copy Red Bull to cover them off. I dont think they are bold enough to do their own strategy

There must be something in Perez's contract that will allow RedBull to apply team order on him whenever they want. Otherwise RedBull wouldn't retain him.

Why is it nonsense? There’s clearly tension between the 2 drivers which RBR will have to manage. RBR can give team orders but having the drivers comply is another thing.

With Bottas and Hamilton we had endless dissection of their relationship and Merc’s management of their relationship. The same is starting with Russell and Hamilton. I find the changing dynamic between Max and Perez very interesting. It’s quite unlikely but if Perez wins today it could be explosive…

The risk of rain seems to be getting smaller during the race. Good for Charles, he needs a straight forward race now. If Sainz can keep P2 into turn one he should be all set. Less good for the spectators however…

The relationship between Checo and Max is excellent, there is no tension at all.
After a good chat right after the Barcelona GP, Checo understood why RBR had made those decisions and he agreed.

If checo drives for Max during the train ride today, RBR will not intervene.
Leclerc and Sainz are 1-2 and then Checo is 3rd with 15 points and Max 4th with 12 points. Before the GP RBR had already taken into account that Ferrari would achieve a 1-2 here and if Checo finishes ahead of Max then there will be no problem for anyone with many races to go. And Checo is happy and Max is happy for Checo.

And IF Checo wins today, he'll deserve it and the whole team is happy, nothing will explode.
Thats just your whishful thinking.

Edit: Also Max knows that Checo is and was always very quick in Monaco and he accepts that.

Ferrari needs to race to win, the notion that Ferrari can (or should) favor Perez is ridiculous.
If the order is mantained at the start, as it most often is around Monaco, Max will get a switch a couple of laps after that, Red Bull won't feel an inch of shame before making this call.

We'll see. Cant see it given how on form Perez has been round here this weekend. A step above Max I think.

Max for years has been criticized for wanting to show his speed too early in Monaco. Now he is running the long game, and his last lap was (just like last year) going to be very good (not pole Ofcourse) but P2 was in the cards.

Ferrari must be feeling the strain then given the damage they've had this year.

Wonder what they broke on Sainz that cost 500k!

Poor man this Spanners guy  I would guess he is still suffering from PTSD of last year and just wants to light some fires. His responses cleary show he wanted a bit of a fight.

And majority of these kind of people claimed and are claiming they have moral superiority over others...
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

He was hated for most of his F1 career, especially when he got promoted to RedBull. This year the hate is even bigger because everyone expected he will dissapear from the title fight, while his rival would flourish and take everything. Since that didnt materialize, he is scruteneered for every little mishap that happens.
