A great track for Albon to make Q3
I'm expecting a good showing from Williams here.

Any idea what the death of the Queen will have on the Event?
Beyond possibly reduced coverage on BBC/Channel4 and possibly Sky F1 I don’t think they’re will be any major issues
I doubt it will affect the event in any way at all. Maybe they'll do a moment's silence but probably not even that. British drivers / teams might decide to wear a black arm band or some other indication of mourning.

Maybe some puns about King Charles in case of a Leclerc win.

Well it would be a more fitting pun if he came third, of course...

Being Ferrari it is more likely to be a right royal cockup

(sorry Ferrari fans, I do like Ferrari and feel for the fans, but it is what it is)

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict a crazy podium. If we ever get an underdog winning, it's usually at Monza.

1. Hamilton
2. Norris
3. Albon

Read it and weep! 🤣

I don’t think that’s likely with Hamilton starting at the back with an engine penalty. The Mercedes is at a top speed disadvantage - the opposite of last year.

I can appreciate that, but it's Monza🥳

Formula One has confirmed that there will be a one-minute silence in memory of Queen Elizabeth.

This will take place prior to the first free practice session.

Silence at Monza

It was announced on Thursday that Britain's Queen Elizabeth had died at the age of 96. Elizabeth had been suffering from health problems for some time and concerns about her condition increased further during Thursday. The F1 world also reacted with shock to the news from the United Kingdom.

Prior to the first free practice session for the Italian Grand Prix, everyone will observe a one-minute silence.

This will be done ten minutes before the session starts, so at 12:50pm UK time. After that, the race weekend will resume
'normally' with FP1 and later in the afternoon at 4pm the second free practice.

This is going to be pretty close to Spa. Verstappen without engine penalties will lap everybody up to 3rd or 4th place.

That would be a lovely result as it would get the British National Anthem played - quite fitting at the moment. =D>

It's never going to happen, of course.

That gets it all out of the way and lets the weekend carry on as normal, so quite a good way of doing it.

Honestly I don't think anybody can do anything about it. Unless there is some reliability issues.
