Virtually 100% chance of the Driver Championship fininshing in Singapore.

Max will cruise, Leclerc will DNF and Perez will get punted by Ocon. Finito. Done. See you next year! :wink:

Max either wins it this weekend or next race. The only way he won't is if he suffers a bout of amnesia and forgets how to drive the car.

The last time a full season finished this early was 2011 when Seb won on the 15th race of 19. Lewis won the strange, shortened 2020 season early, of course, but it was because races were cancelled during the season that made it short. Otherwise, there's only Michael and Mansell that have won sooner in normal, full, seasons.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Having 22 races on the calendar does make it easier to win this early.

What he means is: having more races makes it easier to win with more races to spare.
