Did they really out Carlos out on intermediates in this?!

Edit: they did. I can’t believe they started people on intermediates in this.

Worst decision they could make. Now the race is not going to happen. Nice job again FIA.

What is this ---!?

As soon as it's a full wet race the race is red flagged. Pathetic!

Utter morons.

This should have been declared a wet race before this race let off. Can’t believe they made everyone start on intermediates in this.

This. Especially for us Americans west of Eastern Standard Time.

Well that was a nice and exciting race. See you next year, Japan!

Question is, will they decide to run for a couple of laps behind the SC so they can award points…?

Isola even stated right before the start he didn't think they'd see wets today. :wtf: But he could be right if they don't restart the race....

They literally have the ability to mandate the Wet tyres for the start. I see no reason why they didn't. If Otmar is right about the weather they could've driven through the weather with wets under safety car

Maybe I’m just grumpy as it’s so early in the morning. But F1 is becoming very boring.

Don’t want to crash? Pit for wets and drive slower.

They probably won’t even standing start it now.

I can’t hold this against Carlos or anyone else who crashed. They should have never been made to start in these conditions on intermediates.

They already did a few laps so no need to even restart! I surely hope not that's why they started the race. What a joke that would be #-o

It's funny to think, a couple of years ago it felt like F1 had a weather bubble around it and the wet weather would miss the track by a couple of minutes. There have been so many wet sessions this season. I guess the weather is well and truly luck based
