One of my favourite tracks. Looking forward to this one - not however looking forward to people not understanding the grid order again given high expectation of lots of engine swaps

Have heard rumours of RB and Ferrari taking a penalty at this race.
Quite shocked with RB as im sure Helmut said they wouldnt need to take any more penalties. Unless they could be running their new ERS, as im sure that has to be run within 5? races after homologation deadline??

I think only Perez will have a new PU, because now he doesn't have the new ERS system and then he has a great PU for Mexico.

Interesting. What information do we have that Checo hasnt ran the new ERS yet. I actually wonder if things like this could be seen through telemetry of a quali lap between Max and Checo

Perez got a new PU (his 3rd) in Hungary and not a new one after that.

Weird that they gave him the 10 place grid drop at Monza for ICE if they planned to later do a full change. Would be more economical to take the full engine first, then take a 5-place for extra ICE later

Surely it would mean they can just swap the ERS components over and reduce the penalty due to the amount of components changed?

Any recent pictures on the death curbs in turns 11, 12 and 20 still being around?

If these are still the same as 2021 then it is clear the FIA has no concern over driver safety, fingers crossed this has been addressed otherwise the track is not fit for use in open wheel racing

One of the best tracks on the calendar, along with Spa!

A bird's eye view of the circuit.

They're bringing a big update! *inhales more hopium* Also a circuit which is 17th/22 for % of the lap at full throttle *more hopium* and it also has the slow, long radius corners in s3 that were Merc's big strength at Zandvoort

How many tanks of hopium do you have? Because I think Merc fans will need double 😂
