DeVries is still at 0 in both universes. As is Ricciardo .

So... With his 10th place finish in Silverstone gaining Sargent the points scoring finish Marko said he needed to retain his seat, what excuse to RB us for dropping him & replacing him with Ricciardo?

Huh, I have no idea what you were talking about in your first message and I don't understand this answer at all.
Could you explain to me what you're talking about? Sargeant, Marko, Ricciardo, wrong team, huh?
Edit: I mean: What did you actually want to write in your first post?

I was thinking Sargent driver for AT and was dropped, but obviously it’s De Vries

Following Felipe Massa starting a lawsuit regarding the 2008 championship result I’m going to do something similar with that year…

Reminder that they have disqualified people in the past but the results remain unchanged so it would just be the same.

Saved you some time :P

But not always... when Tyrell were disqualifed from 1984, the race classifications were reallocated.

Don't waste your time. The title can't be reallocated - the rules state that once it's given out then it's a final-for-all-time outcome.

Massa just wants money - he's stated that the loss of the title cost him tens of millions. He's hoping someone will cough up a large suitcase full of hundreds for him.

I know both of these things, I’m just curious as to finding out what grounds he may have for his claim.
I know that if Alonso was DSQ’d from Singapore it would have given LH the title by a greater margin, however had Renault been excluded from the championship (a la Tyrell in ‘84), would the outcome have been any different.
It won’t take long to work out.

Massa's argument is that the Singapore race should be removed from the results for 2008 and thus Hamilton's greater number of points in that race than Massa's would also be removed from the results. The outcome for the 2008 season thus being that Massa would win the title.

However, I can see the FIA just saying "OK we'll DSQ Renault from the Singapore race and thus the title doesn't change".

I cannot recall a race that has been run ever having the result removed, even the ridiculous Indianapolis event in 2005, Spa last year, Imola ‘94, Monza ‘61; all of which could have been justifiably removed from results. There is no precedent.

Quite so. But that isn't stopping someone pushing Massa's buttons and making him waste a big wedge of cash on lawyers' fees.

And even if one takes the precedent set by McLaren's removal from the title in 2007, the drivers got to keep their points when the team was found to have been naughty.

19-car 2023 Dutch grand prix.

5 - HAM - 10
6 - NOR - 8
7 - ALB - 6
8 - PIA - 4
9 - OCO - 2
10 - STR - 1
F.L. - ALO (1)

Championship points:

PER - 244
ALO - 217
HAM - 200
LEC - 127
SAI - 127
RUS - 125
NOR - 105
STR - 66

PIA - 49
ALB - 19
HUL - 12
BOT - 10
TSU - 9
ZHO - 8

Race (new) narratives:

Q: Perez continues to just make Q3... and it is good enough. He makes all the right decisions in the race, looked dominant for 60 laps... until he fumbles from the lead... and it is good enough. He'll win the championship if he remembers that.
Alonso uses the rain chaos to hold on to his chances with a max score for the weekend, now 27 points behind Perez.
Shock, clever 2nd for Gasly, Alpine's second second this year.
Rivals, not enemies.
