I looked at the weather forecast on several sites. It will rain from Friday to Sunday. Perhaps it will be relatively dry only on Saturday. In any case, I'm ready to wait for a rainy weekend. And apparently it will not be possible to make adequate comparative data with last year.

Also, perhaps because of this, some teams will use the rear wings with a larger load in order to play a lot of time in the first sector. And someone will rely on straight lines in order to better defend themselves on the track.

Mechanical grip is key for wet, so we are in no-mans land, 50/50

As part of these changes, and following a number of discussions, David Sanchez has left the team

Well that was quite a short tenure...
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Perhaps Sanchez wanted a leading aerodynamics role and Stella did not want to take that away from Prodromou who was in charge of their revival last year.
I think it is wise not to disrupt the team in that way although it would have been nice to have Sanchez as an asset.

Very strange indeed. All of the statements just use corporate speak. Hopefully we'll discover nuggets of the truth over time

Formu1a Uno who may still have contacts close to Sanchez seem to be suggesting the decision was made more from Sanchez's side, being unhappy with the position

Yes, he was probably hired by Seidl before the restructure, and the role he was promised wasn't what he got.
But too bad to see a talent like that leave

That position was to be head of concept if I recall? Autosport report McLaren are actually looking for a replacement so the team's planned structure is to be maintained. Whenever a replacement can be found!

Is Sanchez free to leave without a gardening leave? How much info/knowledge did he even gather during his time with the Team?

Slight offtopic: can a gardening leave be cancelled? Lets say the Team told Sanchez in August '23 he is not needed. Is it up to Ferrari to decide if they need him or is he a free agent regardles ofof what Ferrari want?

Was there a discussion yesterday? I wouldn’t be surprised if it was on April 1 - the day of the joke.

Edit: Okay, I read what was written on the site. Interesting. It turns out that he didn’t fit into the team. Or he wanted to pull the blanket over himself. So far I don't see anything critical. People come and go.

This is not April Fools material. Not for a serious organization.

I looked and realized that this was not a joke. Don't worry.
