Ron is pulling our leg in stating that McLaren pair is on split strategies? At least some expert thought that Hamilton looked only a lap or so heavier, so that hardly qualifies as a "split strategy", does it.

It is highly likely, though, that the new SC rules will raise some eyebrows this weekend. I don't know what the SC percentage of Monaco races is, but it's got to be fairly high? A quick thinking strategist might cause a major upset with a rightly timed decision. Also a marginal chance for a bit of history - as of yet, no father-son duo has managed to win Monaco; now, Rosberg has a minute chance of doing so.

But looking at the quali speed of the Maccas, if nothing dramatic happens, they're going to pull away quickly.
