I noticed that too! It's really good news, since they have been running the Le Mans series with just one prototype. Not having more cars has probably hampered setup work and development, since reliability is always an issue in these cars. IMHO, Gamesa could do with some advertising of their "windmills". It won't hurt anybody and the local government will be proud of anything with Euskadi in its name.
According to a friend of mine that attended the 24h, the "ambient" is excellent and I'm also thinking on going there too.
(Translated for forum convenienve) Thanks! I'm glad to hear it.
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.

Hey, I appreciate that there's radio le mans available on the web, but does anyone know of anywhere that's showing the race on the internet. Unfortunately we don't get Eurosport for free in the UK...

Don't know if this will work without a membership, but it's live timing. Better than nothing here at work! :D

Eurosport will show it for the first hours. Then later Eurosport 2 from Premiere will take over and show it. that is all satellite based and for the premiere you have to pay.

premiere also used to sell it on the internet. it looks like this year they are not doing it. sorry

I though there would be some V8 Vantage GT2s in the LMGT2 class to race Ferraris, Porsches and Spykers. Any idea why no GT2 Astons? :( They sounded so promising...

it looks like Peugeot is 3s/lap faster in the dry. after 1h they have 1 min advantage. Audi could be able to run 1 lap longer but it is not yet clear. next fuel stop will show. in the rain Audi is expected to catch up and do better. it will be an issue of reliability I guess.

this is working over internet. TVU player is recommended. I have tested it with the Media player.
