Sauber C29

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Very probably the top picture shows the Bahrain Spec ... The holes besi the cockpit are also different from the ones shown on pic 2 and pic 3.

I have no idea, what that cylindrical thing poking out of the cover is ... ? Like you said .... could be for cooling.

Since last year ;)
They also have louvres very low in the sidepods just in front of rear wheels... (since last year also.)
and also, check the engine cover out. Is that Bahrain spec, do you think, hence the extra slots?

These extra slots are copied from Force India.

Nothing is new in F1, ay? You didn't have a answer for the bullet like thing though!

The C29 looks absolutely massive...I'm sure it's the white mainly but it just looks like a frickin' boat on wheels!

Isn't this rather private information released to help find sponsors for a team lacking it? Isn't a support by Japanese firm for Japanese driver? I'm very curious...

Bridgestone releases the tyre wear data to each team, but only for that team of course, not for other teams. They also indicate their relative performance.

Quali might yet spring a few surprises if teams gentle on tyres can put in a hot lap on softs and leapfrog up the grid ahead of the "big 4".
