Michelin and 3 punctured tires!!!

Post

Ok, guys we all saw on the US GP that 3 punctured Michelin tires
were the cause of 2 accidents and 1 slow lap of Panis (?)! One of them is Ralf's major accident!
Do you think we should blame Michelin or was there some problems
on the track (like in Bahrain)!! :?: :?: :?:

In Bahrains case it was due to a drain grill that cut the tires......

In Indy's case there hasn't been a oficial report....but to me it isn't Michelins fault! If you look at the amout of tires they have to make every week....for sure there is always 1 or 2 that have small defects! like everything in life....you never have 100% quality control...and 100% reliability!

"We have examined the tyres and it is clear that both were damaged by debris that had been picked up from the track, probably in the wake of the multiple pile-up at the first corner."

But no debris related failures in Bidgestone through the same debris, on the same track.

Statistically speaking it doesn't add up. 60% of cars on Michies, 100% of tire failures were Michies.

it was all by chance that it happened to be all michelins puncturing

...look at it this way...it was the back grid that crashed on lap 1, turn 1 - all Bridgestone runners, except Klein I think. So who would come around first on the the second lap?...Michelin front-runners!

They pretty much picked up all the debris for the Bridgestoners... hahaha... slow but steady...hehehe
