Is it possible that Mclaren runs retarded ignition in race?
I think it will be related to race day (night) temperature...

errr he drove one last week tyre testing...for sure he has done full tank (ballasted ) testing as well so I´m pretty sure he knows what to expect.
And don´t forget he drove that Sauber of last year.. even the seat of 2009 is fitting according to his comments so he jumps in and can start familiarising with the tyres and develeopments..
My feeling is they will be close.

He's going to beat kobayashi easily. It's more a matter of knowing how to go through a setup program in practice, Nick has a lot of experience in that.
He should be able to get the car to a point where he's comfortable and it can perform in qualy. Kobayashi hasn't been so good in dealing with the tyres in qualifying. He isn't really impressive against PDR either in qualy.
Nick also has last year's experience to give him an advantage.
For Sure!!

He is good at overtaking though. It's a bit of an enigma that he's never won a GP.
Definitely looking forward to the comeback, think he'll be the perfect compliment to his fast but slightly erratic team-mate. Sauber badly needs someone who can haul in a reliable bunch of points for the constructors... My only gripe is Nick isn't bringing that awesome BMW V10 with him

From this video it seems he had a particular affection towards Heikki))

Which odds are these WB? Skybet is showing:
Vettel 9/4
Webber 10/3
Alonso 7/2
Hamilton 7/2
Button 9/1

Anyone fancy a 5000/1 Yamamoto bet?

It'll happen though.* Yamamoto 5000/1 will happen.*

*only if we have 23 DNFs

In other news, here are odds from BetClic:
Vettel 9/4
Webber 3/1
Alonso 33/10
Hamilton 7/2
Massa 14/1
Button 14/1
Kubica 14/1

Interesting that they rate Massa/Button/Kubica the same, no? :o Given that Massa's chance is practically 0 unless he's wwaaaaay ahead of Alonso in terms of track position

bloody fractions! why can't you express this in metric? I feel the other odds are also very close to the SKY odds I posted.

Vettel 3.25
Webber 4.33
Alonso 4.55
Hamilton 4.55
Button 10
Massa 15 on Sky at 18:00 h today

Heidfeld 301
Kobayashi 401
8) It would be good for Nick to beat Kobayashi to secure a seat for 2011.

I think the order will be

Vettel
Webber
Hamilton

Despite Turkey and Silverstone, I would actually really love a close result for the two Bulls, a 1-2 perhaps, and see them rekindle their friendship. They seemed to be getting along so good in 2009 :(

BetClic in DECIMALS:
Vettel 2.25
Webber 3
Alonso 3.3.
Hamilton 3.5
Massa/Button/Kubica 14

(my mind just raced back to Melbourne :P Andrea Stella: Hamilton 3.5.
Alonso: I don't want to know!!)

Skybet:
Vettel 2.25
Webber 3.33
Alonso 3.5
Hamilton 3.5
Button 9

The poll on the front page is giving completely different percents than the odds. It is probably wishfull thinking.
