Renault R31

No, it is just their Lotus 125 car.

And you made me so excited for the last few seconds! ;)

BTW, last year there were 'spy-shots' of few cars available before lunch. I'm sure I saw Williams and another car (I think it was Ferrari shot at Maranello, but I'm not very sure about that last one).

The Williams one looked pretty fake. Here's the video.

I don't remember a Ferrari one, but we did have spy shots of their EBD at Maranello.

Great pic.

I would really like this livery if it wasnt for the red endplates wich destroys the whole livery for me.

Quick fix

Horrible scenery and lightning on original pic though, yellow background and yellow lights on partly yellow-toned car.. what were they thinking?

That livery makes me want to smoke some John Player Specials.

Seriously, if the Ferrari barcode was too close to saying Marlboro, surely this too is skating on thin ice?

Perhaps it's just as well for the Team Lotus (Tony Fernandez et al) boys that they lost the race to black and gold?

All that black paint is going to make it hard to appreciate all of Renault's fantastic front wing revisions!

Am I the only one, but I don't mind the red endplates. It breaks up an otherwise rather boring livery. I don't like the thick stripes on the rear of the car either. Too think and messy.

That's a very interesting front wing. Did Renault race with that last year?

I like it better with the red plates.

Big Lotus logo is big.

Consider yourselves lucky, Bahar probably wanted it to look like this, until all the aerodynamicists threatened to resign.

Yeah, Bahaar is playing a game "my lotus logo is bigger than yours"
