Yeah, theres a whole sort of championship, that's been going on for a couple of years now, it started off as 2d MS-paint drawn cars but it gre and grew to what it is today, ao all results and news and stuff you see on there will be based off the championship. Theres a whole grid of us doing these sketchup cars.

few questions, I'm doing something very similar, lil bit stuck on the floor, firstly, at the front the regs talk about a 50mm radii on the front corners of both the skid block and the part of the floor which is on the ref plane. Also when joining up the reference and the step plane, it again talks about radii, could anyone clear this up for me, is so annoying.

At how far back does your floor become the diffuser, I'm clueless as to where to do it. Is it rear wheel centre line or what?!?! :S

It's even funnier than that - it's at the top of his quote!

Quite why it was necessary to quote all 4 pictures again is beyond me too... :wtf:

Tbh when I first designed the car I wasn't really keeping to regulations, and really have lost track of where everything is placed, I tthen tried to get it to 2011 regulations, but I have ni eral answer I'm afraid, but I can get you an undershot of the floor.

Right Hemishpere's Deep Exploration offers file conversion, but is expensive.

During ‘searches’ I found and added:
Khamsin, … A Google Sketchup CFD modelling plugin to my data stores. It may be of use to those on the forum that are excited about the possibilities of SketchUp. I have not needed to use it myself and can’t explain it's features or usability for purpose:
