The Mclaren may be bad in comparison to the Red Bull, but dont go thinking a Williams is FAR better, because if you think the williams is alot faster than the Mclaren I would say you will be dissapointed.
A bad car for Mclaren means a points finishing car nevertheless.

@SchumacherM,

I knew I left somthing out!
Hmmmm Force India.....where to put them.....I will have to get back to you on that!

what is your source for this order. my source are testing (all testing in 2011) :!:

how is mercedes faster then renault when renault have times in top 3 from Valencia-Jerez, and they have top 3 times when R31 is on track in Barcelona (yesterday Petrov, and Heidfeld...). Mercedes have only good result's first time in Jerez, but in barcelona (his car is in middle). Williams have potential, but also pptential have Torro Rosso and Mclaren. :?

and if you tell me that renault is top 3 only because low fuel and supersoft tyers you wrong, i can tell same thing for red bull and ferrari :|

i agree with you mclaren is bad with comparison to the red Bull. but i think williams-torro rosso-mclaren are in same level of competition. only think lotus renault is slightly better from this three teams.

Neno,

Why dont you put your ideas out, and then your reasoning. Maybe that will work?

Renault havent displayed anything special, Heifeld has been very cautious and the team are still getting to grips with their exhaust concept.
I think they have clever solutions, but that doesnt mean its faster. Sauber have done far more for me and their longer stints are very good in comparison to Renault.

Planet Red Bull and then Moon Ferrari are too far for anyone else at this point, Renault included in the midfiled until I see the times to dictate otheriwse(not just fast laps, but consistent ones)
More could have been done.

I can't see Red Bull being .5 quicker than Ferrari. My guess is we'll see .2-.3 difference between RB to Ferrari and then MB will either be as quick as Ferrari or within .1-.2. Williams may be up there too. Renault is still figuring things out but I believe they will be dicing with Mclaren.

Well we have seen Mercedes ironing out their reliability issues quickly and historically their cars were always reliable.
Mclaren has all it takes to produce something that lasts the distance.

renault andWilliams look still weak in that department methinks..

So if not in absolute speed but in making the finishline at full song i rate Mercedes and Mclaren high ,but at this time Sauber and toro rosso are the dark horses for third spot with Kobayashi maybe already good enough to bag the position that is possible.

I believe Ferrari made a good step this last test. I think they may be ahead of Red Bull. I also think Mercedes have made quite a big step and will be behind Ferrari and Red Bull. I think the next teams Williams, Toro Rosso and Renault will be all about the same. I don't think Sauber is as high as people have them. They did similar last year with low fuel runs.
