Alonso to BMW as all Ferrari seats are taken?

With the extension of Kimi Raikkonen's contract until the end of 2010, rumours about Fernando Alonso's future are buzzing all over the paddock. It was always assumed that in 2010 the Spaniard would race for the red squad, but after the announcement of Ferrari today all eyes are back on BMW Sauber.

It was already whispered in the paddock that Fernando Alonso would sign a three-year deal with the BMW Sauber F1 Team where he would team-up with his good friend Robert Kubica. After the announcement made today, this scenario seems more realistic than before.
