Lewis had the better car - Massa

Scuderia Ferrari driver Felipe Massa admits that there was nothing the team could have done to stop Lewis Hamilton from winning the Chinese Grand Prix at the Shanghai International Circuit today. Hamilton led the race from pole to finish and was never threatened by the Ferrari's.

The gap between the title contenders is now 7 points with only Massa's home race at Sao Paulo left on the calendar.

Massa said after the race: “Lewis was a bit stronger at the beginning of the race and started to pull away around two to three tenths per lap. This made, for sure, his race more comfortable, and for us we were completely driving on the limit trying to reduce the gap, but it wasn’t possible. Unfortunately Lewis had the better car for the whole weekend.”
