McLaren and Freescale to work together on KERS

McLaren Electronic Systems will work together with Freescale Semiconductor to develop its Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) from 2010. Freescale is the leading supplier of automotive semiconductors.

Steve Wainwright a spokesperson of Freescale said: "This joint KERS development project with McLaren Electronic Systems is on the cutting edge of automotive technology.
