Toyota driver Jarno Trulli was surprised to find himself fighting for pole position during the qualifying session for the Malaysian Grand Prix. Trulli will start tomorrow's race from the front row next Jenson Button, who grabbed his second pole position.

Trulli: "I didn't expect to be here. The track was not comfortable, but we worked out a good set-up by analysing the data. Today we got it right, the tyres were spot on. It is a shame to lose the pole for a few hundredths, but it is good, let's see what happens tomorrow.

"I hope to to have a good race and good fight, it will be a nice race hopefully."
