Sebastien Bourdais and manager Nicholas Todt have reached an out of court settlement with the Scuderia Toro Rosso, after the Italian team fired Bourdais soon after the German GP. Bourdais's contract was to expire at the end of the season, therefore he promised to take legal action.

Manager Nicholas Todt told French sports newspaper 'L'Equipe', "One week after the German Grand Prix, we reached an out-of-court settlement with the team. They knew it would not stand up in court."
