FOTA discusses general launch event

During the Suzuka meeting of the Formula One Teams' Association, FOTA, a new cost-cutting initiative was discussed. The teams support the concept of organising a single event to officially launch all the cars ahead of the 2010 F1 season.

In the past, every team organised an individual car launch, one even more spectacular than the other. But last season, most teams decided to keep a low-profile launch in the light of the global financial crisis and cost-cutting measurements that would be introduced in the sport.
