Campos Meta F1 likely to skip pre-season testing

The Campos Meta F1 Team, who will enter the pinnacle of motorsport this season, said that it may not take part in any of the pre-season test session. The team however insists that it will make the opening race in Bahrain.

Daniel Eisen, Head of Strategy, declared to the 'Associated Press': "Bahrain is a test, it's not a first race for us. The cars are very advanced, we have a driver under contract and our intention is to be in Bahrain for the first race."

The team has signed only one driver at the moment, Bruno Senna, and the Dallara-built chassis passed the FIA's crash tests last week. However, there are a lot of concerns about the financial strenght of the new team on the grid as they are still searching for investors.
