Sauber F1 Team driver Sergio Pérez has received medical clearance to race during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend after his heavy crash at the street race of Monaco. As he suffered a concussion in the crash, Pérez had to pass medical tests today in Montreal before FIA medical delegate Jean Charles Piett decided he can return to the cockpit tomorrow.

Pérez said: "I just went to do the examination and all the tests again with the FIA, and everything was fine. We gave them our results from the doctors and everything is fine to race again this weekend."
