Red Bull adds L'Equipe and DU sponsorship at Abu Dhabi

Red Bull Racing is pleased to announce it has agreed a one-race Team Partnership with French newspaper, L’Equipe, for the forthcoming Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. For the same race, broadband provider du sponsors the team for the second year in a row.

As part of the agreement, L'Equipe branding will feature on both Red Bull Racing Formula One cars on the rear wing endplate and on the driver overalls, worn by Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel, throughout the weekend.

Red Bull has become a major player in the world of sport, bringing innovative and breakthrough approach to competition – this is well demonstrated by Red Bull Racing and their success in Formula One. Our leadership in print and digital media in France reflects this and the brands are complimentary with L’Equipe and Red Bull sharing passion for sport.”

Markus Obrist, Marketing Manager, Red Bull France commented: “Red Bull is proud to announce this partnership with L’Equipe, a true institution in media and French sport. Thanks to this partnership, the French will have the opportunity to discover The Red Bulletin, which is launched in France today, a fantastic monthly magazine about the World of Red Bull.”

Du meanwhile sponsors the team for the second time in a row at Abu Dhabi. As part of the partnership, du’s logo will appear on Red Bull Racing’s Formula One cars and the overalls worn by Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. To celebrate the partnership, du has also launched a range of competitions, with prizes including a trip to Brazil and a Formula One driver meet and greet.
