Ferrari tied with Mercedes as rain hits Silverstone in FP3

Lewis Hamilton emerged fastest out of the third and final free practice session, only narrowly edging out Sebastian Vettel and yesterday's fastest man, Valtteri Bottas. As rain arrived around 40 minutes into the session, all top times were set before that moment, and only little running was done in the final 15 minutes.

While Raikkonen was a logical fourth to underline the proximity of Ferrari to Mercedes, Nico Hulkenberg surprised to go fifth fastest in his Renault, ahead of Daniel Ricciardo, who for the first time this weekend managed to be fastest than Max Verstappen.
