Wolff set to miss Imola race for personal reasons

Having also skipped the Japanese Grand Prix earlier this year, Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff will be absent from this weekend's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff has already missed the Suzuka round earlier this season, and while he usually attends every European round, it has now emerged that the Austrian will skip this weekend's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
It has emerged that Wolff will be absent from the opening European round of the season due to his son graduating from college this weekend.
Before marrying Susie Wolff in 2011, Wolff was married to Stephanie for over a decade. The duo also had two children: Benedict Wolff and Rosa Wolff. Meanwhile, Wolff also has a second son named Jack following his marriage with Susie.
Wolff will miss the Imola race as his 23-year-old eldest son Benedict is graduating from the University of Southern California and the Austrian executive has decided to stay in the United States.
Mercedes' chief communications officer Bradley Lord took over Wolff’s trackside commitments at Suzuka, carrying out duties such as media work during the Japanese Grand Prix weekend, and he will play the same role in Imola in the absence of the Austrian.
Speaking about the second-longest serving team principal in the F1 paddock ahead of his first home F1 race, Mercedes' Italian sensation Andrea Kimi Antonelli stated that the Austrian has been very supportive for long years.
"Everyone is helping me a lot. I have known Toto since 2018 - he has always been supportive, and we have a very good relationship."
