Alpine announce new regional partnership with Claro

Formula One's Enstone-based Formula One team, Alpine have announced a regional partnership with Central and South American telecommunications company, Claro.

As part of América Móvil, the company is one of the largest telecommunications companies worldwide in terms of access and mobile subscribers. They provide connectivity for over 300 million users in 16 countries across Latin America and seven in Europe.

América Móvil has been involved in Formula One for the past 14 years and now are partnering with Alpine and the Enstone-based outfit's Argentinean Franco Colapinto.

"Speed and connection quality for customers are crucial for Claro, making them synonymous with the core principles of motorsport. Claro branding will be present on the race helmet and cap of the BWT Alpine Formula One Team driver, Franco Colapinto," read Alpine's statement.

Commenting on the announcement, Colapinto added: "I am happy to have partnered with Claro – América Móvil – and to enjoy their support this year. Claro's dedication to connectivity and innovation mirrors everything we push for on track: precision, speed, and seamless performance. I'm proud to unite our brands and bring a bit of that Latin America to every Grand Prix."

Reflecting on the announcement, Claro Agentina's CEO Julio Porras Zadik added: "We have been present in this sport for several years and now we return together with BWT Alpine Formula One Team. We are very excited to support Franco at this key moment."
