F3: Ferrari junior driver Camara secures pole position for F3 Feature Race

Ferrari junior driver Rafael Camara was under great pressure in the closing stages of Friday’s F3 qualifying, but he put in a great effort to secure pole position for Sunday’s F3 Feature Race.
Under pressure heading into the final attempts of the day, Rafael Camara delivered a 1:32.510 to go less than a hundredth clear of his Campos Racing rival Mari Boya in second.
Ferrari’s other F3 driver Tuukka Taponen finished third for ART Grand Prix after a late improvement of his own.
Gerrard Xie looked comfortable in his F3 car, and the Hitech TGR driver secured fourth place for the main race, ahead of Theophile Nael.
Former F1 driver Charlie Wurz’s son, Alex took sixth, whilst McLaren Development Driver Ugo Ugochukwu ended up seventh, Brando Badoer, Alessandro Giusti, James Wharton, James Hedley and Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak, who rounded out the top 12.
There were huge disappointments for several drivers. MP Motorsport driver Tim Tramnitz and Campos racer Nikola Tsolov ended up in a disappointing P17 and P21, respectively.
It's unbelievably close! 🤯
