Hot on the heels of his first points since the Imola race, Yuki Tsunoda has revealed how he plans to improve team cohesion at Red Bull at this weekend's Italian Grand Prix.

Having finished in P9 last time out at Zandvoort which saw him collect his first points since the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Tsunoda has revealed that he will invite his crew to eat pizza before the action kicks off at Monza.

"Scoring points in Zandvoort last weekend was a real step in the right direction, and it felt great to be back in the mix. I'm carrying that confidence into Monza, which definitely feels like a home race for me.

"I live in Italy for some of the year, so it'll be nice to enjoy a few home comforts, and the food of course! The Team have already been asking me for local reccomendations, and I will be taking my crew for pizza before the race week kicks off."

Speaking of the Autodromo Internationale di Monza which is due to play host to the last European race of the season, Tsunoda hopes that he can build on the progress he has made in recent rounds.

"Monza is one of the classic circuits on the calendar, and it's one every driver looks forward to. We've been making progress race by race, and we'll keep pushing to improve the car and our performance, we hope to say goodbye to the European season in a positive way."

At last weekend's Dutch Grand Prix, Red Bull gambled at the start by sending both Max Verstappen and Tsunoda on Pirelli's soft tyres into the 72-lap race. The grip advantage and a brilliant manoeuvre at Turn 3 enabled the Dutchman to overtake Lando Norris on the opening lap.

However, the McLaren driver managed to fight back later on as Verstappen started to struggle with tyre wear. However, once he settled into his pace, he was running comfortably in third. When Norris was forced to retire in the closing stages of the race, Verstappen inherited second place.

"Finishing P2 was a good result for us in Zandvoort and it was great to celebrate in front of my home crowd and feel that support. Going on to Monza, its a very fast circuit and it of course has a great history and passionate fans.

The four-time world champion has pinpointed the area in which Red Bull needs to find gains, stressing that tye management continues to still cause issues to the Milton Keynes-based outfit.

"As a Team there are things we need to work to improve, including how we are managing the tyres. "It is about continuing performance from Qualifying through into the race and having the pace on the long runs, especially on this track.

"I enjoy the old school circuit and we will see what the week brings," concluded the Dutchman.
