Lewis Hamilton delivered one of his strongest performances since joining Ferrari, and fans rewarded him by voting him Driver of the Day at the Canadian Grand Prix. He received 27.7 percent of all votes cast, giving him a clear and decisive victory in the poll.

Hamilton made an excellent start to the race by overtaking Oscar Piastri and moving into third place. For several laps he successfully held off the Mercedes pairing of Kimi Antonelli and George Russell, demonstrating both composure and defensive precision.

Later in the race, Max Verstappen managed to get past him, but Hamilton refused to settle for the position. He fought back and executed a bold move around the outside of Turn 1 to reclaim the place, ultimately securing second, which stands as his best Grand Prix finish for Ferrari.

Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc experienced a more difficult afternoon. He struggled with tyre performance throughout the weekend, yet still managed to deliver an entertaining battle with Isack Hadjar. Leclerc eventually overtook the Red Bull driver and finished in fourth, salvaging a respectable result from a challenging race.

The fan vote reflected strong appreciation for Hamilton’s determination and racecraft. Lewis Hamilton received 27.7 percent of the total vote, giving him a comfortable lead over the rest of the field.

Kimi Antonelli finished second in the poll, earning 17.1 percent of all votes submitted. Max Verstappen followed closely behind, collecting 15.7 percent of the vote.

Franco Colapinto received 9.7 percent, reflecting strong fan recognition for his performance. George Russell rounded out the top five with 6.2 percent of the vote.
