Williams unveil stunning Union Jack-inspired livery for home British Grand Prix

Williams have revealed a special one-off livery that will adorn the FW48 at this weekend's British Grand Prix, with the Grove-based outfit celebrating its proud British heritage ahead of the team's 50th anniversary.
The striking design features a Union Jack-inspired theme, with bold red, white and blue accents running across the nose cone and sidepods of the FW48 for the team's home race at Silverstone.
It will also be reflected throughout the team, with Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz wearing bespoke race suits, while mechanics and engineers will sport limited-edition team kit designed by official apparel partner New Era.
The special livery pays tribute to one of Formula 1's most successful and historic constructors. Now in its 49th year, Williams has claimed 114 Grand Prix victories, nine Constructors' Championships and seven Drivers' Championships, with Silverstone playing host to several landmark moments in the team's history.
Among those achievements are Williams' maiden Formula 1 victory, secured by Clay Regazzoni in the FW07 at the 1979 British Grand Prix, and the team's milestone 100th win, achieved by Jacques Villeneuve at Silverstone in 1997.
The British outfit has won its home race on eight occasions, with Nigel Mansell taking three victories, including his iconic triumph in 1991 when he famously gave Ayrton Senna a lift back to the pits on the sidepod of his car after the Brazilian ran out of fuel.

Team Principal James Vowles says the special livery is a fitting way to honour the team's rich history while embracing the support of its passionate home fans.
"We are proud to be flying the flag for the British GP this week. From our first win to our 100th, Silverstone has played host to some of Atlassian Williams F1 Team's most iconic moments – and there is nothing on the F1 calendar quite like the atmosphere of the home crowd here.
"Whether watching in the grandstands, supporting at the Fan Zone or cheering us on from home, we really feel the energy of the fans and will be carrying it with us all weekend."
Vowles also highlighted the significance of Silverstone in Williams' story: "From our first win to our 100th, Silverstone has played host to some of Atlassian Williams F1 Team's most iconic moments – we are proud to be flying the flag for the British GP this week."
The launch of the livery forms part of a week-long celebration leading up to the British Grand Prix. Williams will take a show car featuring the special design on a tour of Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh and London, while fans in the capital will be able to attend free Fan Zones presented by Kraken.
The events will feature appearances from Albon, Vowles and 1996 World Champion Damon Hill, alongside partner activations and exclusive merchandise.
