Sebastian Bourdais, the 2006 ChampCar champion will get another test with the Scuderia Toro Rosso. Gerhard Berger said in 'Auto, Motor und Sport' that the team will continue to observe the Frenchman. Berger also fired criticism at Tonio Liuzzi and Scott Speed.

There are a lot of alternative drivers in the picture to replace Liuzzi and Speed next season. After saying that the two were on the first place for the 2007 seats, Berger now declares that both Speed and Liuzzi "showed weakness" and the team wants to discuss that with them. According to Berger, his two drivers lacked focus: “You don't see superstars like Schumacher and Alonso at too many parties.“

Berger also said: “If they also share these goals, they will sit in our cars. If they do not, a further cooperation would be a waste of time.“ It is believed that Berger will announce the Scuderia Toro Rosso's 2007 driver line-up in the beginning of February.
