In his first interview since newspaper 'News of the World' printed lurid allegations about him, Max Mosley defended his right to pursue an "eccentric" private life and insisted it has no effect on his ability to run Formula One.

In an interview with the 'Sunday Telegraph', Mosley said: "I think most adults would say that whatever in that spectrum somebody does, provided it doesn't hurt anybody, provided it's consensual, provided it's among adults, provided it's in private, it concerns nobody but the people doing it."

Further, Max Mosley declared that the story had been "appallingly embarrassing" for his children and his family. He also admitted that wife Jean was not "best pleased" with the disclosures.
