Kimi Raikkonen refused to admit his defeat in his quest for the 2005 Formula One Drivers Championship. McLaren driver Raikkonen is 27 points behind Renaults Fernando Alonso with only 4 races to go, so still 40 points to collect.

Raikkonen had to settle with a 4th place this weekend, while Alonso was able to finish second after Raikkonen's team mate Juan Pablo
Montoya. Alonso is on his way to become the youngest world champion in the history of Formula One. But the Finn, the biggest threat for the young Spaniard, refuses to give up the fight and he intends to strike at the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend at the circuit of Spa-Francorchamps.

Kimi Raikkonen "The next race will show the direction the championship is going, If Alonso has a problem then we will take some points back but if he has no problem then the championship will be very difficult. Even though my world championship chances are looking not so good I will continue to fight."
