The organisers of the British Grand Prix announced that Silverstone has been sold out of the race day on Sunday 6 July while only a limited number of tickets remain for the Saturday qualifying session. Around 100.000 people will attend the British Grand Prix this year.

Managing Director of Silverstone, Richard Phillips, said: “This is the earliest I can remember us selling out of race day tickets. The support for the British Grand Prix has been exceptional. A sell out crowd is exactly what Silverstone, Formula One, the drivers, and the fans deserve. It highlights the popularity and importance of the British Grand Prix.”
