Christian Klien, the official test and reserve driver for the BMW Sauber F1 Team praises the performances of team mates Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld at the Canadian Grand Prix at the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit last weekend.

"I am delighted for the entire BMW Sauber F1 Team, for Robert and Nick", says Klien regarding the sensational result at the seventh race of the season in Montreal. "To achieve a 1-2 victory in this style, with both drivers on different strategies and Robert taking the lead in the Drivers' World Championship is a very special moment. I am sure this will also help to take the team to an even higher level."

Motivated by the success of the BMW Sauber F1 Team, Christian is currently preparing for the 76th Le Mans 24h race. This is one of motor sport's three classics, along with the Formula One Grand Prix in Monaco and the Indianapolis 500 mile race. He recently completed an official test in Le Mans, alongside Ricardo Zonta and Franck Montagny, and came home in an excellent second place. The aim is to secure the first victory of the season for the Total Peugeot team, for whom Christian is appearing.

"The official test was my first opportunity to drive at Le Mans", says Christian. "The track is quite unbelievable. It is totally different to my experiences in Formula One because the track surface changes a lot during the lap, and you are hitting 320 kph / 199 mph five or six times each lap. The last section is quite challenging and you really do have to concentrate fully all the time."
