Pizzonia and Rosberg end their testing
BMW Williams concluded a two day test at the Silverstone circuit today with Antonio Pizzonia and Nico Rosberg sharing testing responsibilities. The drivers managed to cover over 200 laps over the two days, a combined total of just over 1,000 kilometres, despite rain hampering much of Thursday morning.
Sam Michael, Williams Technical Director "Today we finished testing at Silverstone with Antonio and Nico. Most of the day was spent testing intermediate tyres and working through some comparisons for Michelin, but also on traction control and starts. Rain hampered Thursday morning’s session but, towards the end of the day, the track finally dried out which enabled us to finalise some work on Suzuka tyre compounds."
