Loss of $88 million for Williams

The combined loss of the Williams team in 2006 and 2007 was $88 million. The team has increased bank borrowings and this after they presented a strong long-term business plan. According to auditor Grant Thornton "there is a reasonable expectation that Williams has adequate resources to continue operating for the foreseeable future."

In 2005 the team still made a profit of $60 million when it was powered by BMW. At the moment, the Williams team is the only outfit not backed by a car manufacturer or a billionaire.
