Did you not watch the Shuey era at Ferrari? The FIA even banned team orders after one notorious incident (with Massa iirc).

Interestingly enough BBC were also the first who announced James Key's departure from Toro Rosso and joining McLaren.

Ironic as that's where he was sacked/demoted by Red Bull before. AFAIK he left the role at Ferrari last year as they have Leclerc and Giovinazzi.

- Get help from media to hype (copy paste promotion),
- ignore flaws and lack of progress - every Rb driver is perfect! (see another GP by Sainz)
- promote too early, ignore flaws 2
- fire to make place for the next big thing,
- demote to B team,
- replace with a worse driver ,
- rehire - clearly break doesn't affect development. Circus.

Kvyat had some one lap pace against DR but used to go painfully backwards in races. I think Hungary 201whatever ) is a good example, TO within ~3-5 laps (they knew).

Last year he was still at Toro Rosso. He joined Ferrari this season.
