Honda F1 2012 model - karayaone

Post

So I'm back again with a new model! yay! damn it seems like it's gonna be illegal again!
I'm still modeling a lot of things that need to be reworked, but I'm finishing it quite fast! Atleast I have managed to change some things that were really really far from the real cars, but Some things are still out of reguletaions (or completely useless
Anyway, I'll leave you here some images so you can judge by yourselves.

Oh man he strikes again with a beautiful wing, only problem is it is missing the regulated section in the middle.

If you would like I can export the regulated section of the wing to either max or .3ds for you

I thought this thread was about something else entirely.

Here it is

This is only the drivers right of the regulated area all you have to do is mirror it to get the full length. The origin is going to be where the front wheel center line and car center line intersect.

These are nice and all, but I would love to see what you're able to do based on the current regulations. Season long development as seen on other projects is quite impressive.

Another issue is that your parts are too thin, around the endplate section. There's minimum thicknesses for the endplate and footplate, but I can't remember what it is.

i''ve decided to convert my current project (this one ) into a legal one. I'll have to do some major changes but i suppose the result may be better. Apart from the official regulations and the apendix, do you have or know some sort of scheme or blueprint something that I could use to match the dimensions perfectly? working in 3ds max is not always the best when it comes to dimensions, but I will try!

If someone could give me a random total lenght? It would help me so much!

Do you by any chance have this neutral section in a solidworks file?
