I think you're right, its W09 sidepods.
The reason they stuck on the W10 front wing is because its the same regulations as 2020, so its more representative

Do you mean the red emphasises their size? because otherwise, recall the endplates are just about fixed in size and also, this is last years car, and thus all cars of last year had them, and probably all cars of this year will have them again too. In 2021 they are actually larger, I think, but not as rectangular, so maybe that will make them appear less massive.

Oh, you are right about the wing, and it's even the W08 as was concluded in the W11 speculation thread (see the airbox gently sloping down from the start, instead of being straight and then more abrupt).

The whole wing is really big, wide and deep, and w/o the flicks of earlier years, it looks it too I suppose

why didn’t they just use the 2019 car? It would be much easier than attaching a halo to W08 and a wing from W10. Or there are some regulations about using last year cars?

Doubt its a real halo, it will just be some mock up made for that car - doubt it took much time at all. Much like the front wing.

Teams used carbon halos in testing in 2016/17 ahead of the actual titanium secondary roll structure introduction in 2018.

why didn’t they just use the 2019 car? It would be much easier than attaching a halo to W08 and a wing from W10. Or there are some regulations about using last year cars?

I have no idea really, the non-regular test rules do demand a car at least two years old, so I suppose it could indeed have to do with that (or that therefore, no newer car is prepared for ready transport outside of HQ/storage?).

Oh, one bit about the livery: I do like the solid, vibrant turquoise mirrors, and the solid colour with a thick black outline is growing on me.

They already tested the halo on the W08 so it's not impossible.
And if the test cars have to be at least two years old, then this could be the car they're going to test the 18" pirellis with
