Dunno about that. A broken neck can leave you paralysed and unable to do anything for yourself...
well you can tell my mother that.

Oh, wait, she died. ( no it was old age and a while back)
Well that's convenient. Your mother can go ask Christopher Reeves about it.

Its just an old saying, you can agree or not

Lando just can't hide his disappointment... :( :(
For me, this is the video that says it all about how Lando must be feeling.
www.facebook.com/watch/?v=6355313224543186

I bet he feels bad (VERY), but I loved to see how he raced and leaded the race!! =D>
I’m sure he’s over it by now, just a pity his fans can’t move on as quickly

LOL

Do we think Mclaren can finish the season with 3 engines considering Mercedes has taken 5 engines for Bottas ? Engine change on the corner?

I doubt it. I think they’ll take a tactical penalty too.
Seems like teams have changed their tactics this season and instead of priding themselves on reliability they now what as fresh of a PU as possible for the extra power

Then I don't get with this rule (3 engines per/driver, per season). It is not saving cost. Teams are now taking tactical penalty to get performance. Just let them run with 5 engines (per season per driver) anyway then, they have taken into account for it in their annual budget already. so STUPID rule

These changes also include updates to the PU... Honda did that with SPA update on MGU -H...

Ironically as the season gets longer, the penalty of taking a new engine becomes less as it's less of a percentage of the total available points.

Not really if you factor in that at one point they made to the end of the season without penalties!

Didn't RBR look rather ordinary at Hungary? Alonso passed Verstappen in the dry and for position. That's why I shrug at all this talk about PU upgrades. It doesn't mean squat if you don't get everything else PERFECT.

As for the 3 PU rule. Don't sweat it. It's the same for everyone regardless if the rule says 3 or 5 PUs. They either all take penalties or none do. What's the difference to you?

What is probably different is that the contract teams sign with the PU supplier is probably now for 3 PUs. You probably have to pay more for #4. I don't know that for certain. What is certain though, is that in 2022 if RBR are building thier own PU, they'll have to pay for the parts to make up that 4th PU.

In the topic of PU's.

Turkey will be an important gauge of Ferrari's new PU gains. We will have the chance to see Leclerc's pace and compare it to McLaren.

That will give us a good idea on whether we will have fighting chances for 3rd or not.

Ahh, reminds me of same old arguments from the Honda years (which I agree with, especially more so now in a budget cap formula)

Don't remember Turkey being a power track.
