Mazepin showing he still hasn't got a clue. All of the front runners have been messed around by him to some extent. Mick showed how the back of the grid should stay out of the way of the leaders.

Think Hamilton won't be able to get Perez unless DRS becomes available

Good wheel to wheel stuff by Perez and Hamilton. Hard but fair stuff.

MIstake by Mercedes not bringing in Hamilton for new inters. Perez is a second a lap quicker so if Hamilton pits he'll be behind Perez by some distance.

Edit: team called him but Hamilton reckons to stay out. Interesting to see who was right...

Hamilton should be the man deciding here. If he stays out just keep it til the last time.

Obviously when you truncate 5 km distance down to 10 cm all you're gonna get is almost an on/off graph.
Exactly. As I said, the resolution along the x-axis is rather poor. As a driver lifts, it would probably be more than just a few percent but it might be very short and disappear completely in the sampletime. In fact, the graph is so distorded that is it hard to tell what you see. At all...
Why are you selectively omitting the part of my post where I specifically disprove this theory?
Because that is not the part that sets a limit on what you can see.

Looks like Hamilton is committed to going to the end now or he drops a bunch of places. But can LeClerc get him in time?

I think there is still drama here.

Ferrari did Leclerc dirty. Should have pitted 7-8 laps early. Total blunder. Leclerc needed 17-18 laps & not 10 !

The initial call to stay on was wrong & if had stayed on old inters he would have got P3 (ahead of Hamilton) !

Not sure that was a smart move at all unless they know it’s going to rain more or those tyres were in danger of giving up completely.

Weird move, that. I think he might have some choice words for the team here.

Yup. He did. They clearly didn’t tell him he was going to give up two positions. On the face of it that’s a really dumb move.

So they have dropped him back behind Perez. He's gone from third to 6 seconds behind fourth. Madness, surely.

Yes. He thought they were bringing him in and he would keep his place. Now he's not happy.

Ball dropped by the strategy team today.

On those new tyres, he's the slowest car on track.

I think they’ve chucked away a podium here.
