Bitter end for this season, I really thought RB had a chance
Still all to play for. I know I'd rather have a points lead at this point of the season.

Hamilton will win all remaining races, the only chance is Mercedes reliability failure or crash…

Yeah um... They did.

If only they didn't have euro Maldonado as their lead driver?

It's always a possibility Honda could turn their pu's up for the last 1 or 2 races. I dont know if they are already at the max limit or have been holding steady to ensure reliability. Even if they do have a safety margin (I'm sure they do), who knows if it would even be significant enough to upset the Merc. That thing is a bullet!

It's possible Honda have been holding steady to ensure no pu penalites and Red Bull would probably agree with that philosophy until it no longer makes sense to do so.
Meaning it would have been foolish if RB took more engines and penalties when in the points lead AND competitive with Merc.
Now if Merc keep this insane advantage and RB's hopes of getting the title dwindle (were still ahead on points) it wouldn't surprise me if Honda turn the pu up big time since they would come in second place regardless of second in the race or a dnf.

So I think its possible at last race RB/Honda may say win or blow blow up trying. May not be best for Honda pr though as they are leaving.

Does anyone know how many engines he has left and what usage they are on them.
Thats the thing if he needs it to last 3 more races on top how far can they push it?

This is a problem with saying, look at pens tomorrow.
If they knew now if they had a pen they could decide if to take a new engine or not, it might be too late tomorrow.

godlyamoroso is missing?
Where is he and his simulation correlations about redbull being dominant in Qatar?
He has some explaining to do! :)

Season is not over folks. You have reliability issues that can happen, punctures, floor damage, pit stops, engine lose power etc. etc.
Max has a 14 point lead. Mercedes are still the outsiders, and Max always says he is not worried and nothing changes if he loses or wins; he doesn't care.
For Sure!!

As i said, perez can not help. They had to replace engine to him, with hope to get better results
Good idea! =D>

It could be worth to take the +5 place grid drop for Perez, that hadn't occurred to me.

This seems like a very hard track to overtake. Especially if there is a DRS train. Unfortunately Max seemingly likely has a slam dunk pen. Bottas would start in front.

I thought Bottas also didn’t slow for yellows during Q3?

Bottas and sainz were for single waved yellows(-3 grid penalty) and max was for double waved yellows(-5 grid penalty) so Bottas would in theory start in front of max if they are penalized….

Yes, it will be incredibly tough to reach the P2 spot here. Incredibly unlucky to get waved yellows (without any other indication) and missing them. Should have seen them Ofcourse. On merit had P2 starting place, now had to somehow come back to that from P6.
