They did place loops on most corners, didn't they? Then they were changing the track limit section of the race director's notes after every single session for some reason...

They did, but the last notes that I saw placed the extent of track limits as two wheels on the purple and white kerbs all of the way around the track, so that is at the apex as well as the entry/exit.
Ridiculous really, as it changes the complete profile of the track.

"Every driver I spoke to- apart from Max basically- had a problem with what happened, and they believe it has set a precedent... ...especially if there's runoff, you can just run the other car four wheels off if they are challenging you on the outside."

Keep listening, listen to what Russell, Vettel, & Sainz said/did when being interviewed after the meeting!

Basically the section you want to here, is from 19:37 to 28:19!

Uhm... both teams have members of their staf standing next to the air lines, that are not very visible for the approaching drivers.... catching one of those lines with your back wheel and you'll have complete chaos in the pits

You missed my meaning! Usually the pit crew will grab the air line and pull them up and step back towards the garage with them, unless they themselves are preparing for a stop!

It made it easier and safer for a car to get in and out of the box, and was a nicety that's normally see up and down the pitlane!

for example.

Mercedes started doing it in Brazil, so RedBull naturally paid them back the favor.

That's fine by me I really don't care who started it!

I can’t see what Merc did in Brazil but I have no reason to believe they didn’t start it.

I do take issue though with where the Red Bull mechanic is standing in the above clip. Someone has sent him out to risk being hit, it’s a person, they’re not just standing where the air lines usually are holding them 1 foot or so out the way. The lines are where they naturally fall and the mechanic is standing next to them.

Both teams should be ashamed of themselves for sending someone out to stand in such a dangerous place.

Yea, I find that in 2021 I prefer the media to just report what others said and not give their own opinions. Also It would be nice if they didn't make up arbitrary data!
