Note that he hasn't shown the screens. He's probably sitting in the sim but using it to watch Ghostbusters with a 180 degree screen and surround sound while eating popcorn.

Hahaha! No worries :)
TBH it's nice to actually have a bit of a fun discussion on here from time to time as well.

But it's good to see there's sim work going on. Even if just to get familiar with the track. I expect this one is a pretty tricky one to get down with its TWENTY SEVEN corners! You could argue some don't really justify being called corners, but it's a lot and I imagine this is going to be a very easy track to get 'lost' in as a driver with minimal practice.

I wonder at what point most of them would have started learning this track anyway? Many months out, or just close to the time?

What impresses me is how they remember where they are. From sitting so low in the car, everything about the track is utterly nondescript. It's hard to know where you are.

100%. For most tracks it's clearly very easy, but Singapore must be similarly tough. Aside from a few reference points it's largely a constant tunnel of light with a lot of 90 degree-ish corners. Sochi strikes me as being a little like that too.

Mercedes plans to provide Bottas with the same engine as Hamilton, based on the sixth block of the internal combustion engine.

The # 77, according to rumors leaking from Brackley, will feature the sixth engine with a more powerful setup, similar to the one that allowed Hamilton to get pole and win the Brazilian GP.

So is he going to have an engine change or are they going to run his existing pool of engine at high rate?
