Can you explain please ?
It's good for your image to power a team winning championship usually ?
Not good if it's Carbon polluting and you have a 100% Green corporate mission statement.
They have already publicly committed to this statement, so the high up management probably feel they have to make a move some time so just as well carry through what they planned.
Although I really wish they would extend it even just a year or two
They signed contracts and whatnot. Red Bull will get the IP, they started building up their own engine department. There's no way back, unless they want to pay for all the investment that Red Bull made.

IP stays with Honda. Red Bull can use it. Next season, Honda will continue with track side and operation support from Japan.Honda will also continue to assemble engine for RBR in 2022.

All the fans were going crazy, those reactions from India and Africa were amazing. I wish I could've experienced that sports bar in India - that place went nuts 😆

There's also a small clip of Honda's headquarters celebrating on YouTube.
Which videos are you talking about?

Does that mean they will still have a presence trackside, and a name on the car?
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

These are definitely facts. I fail to see any relevance to what I said though.

presence yes, name on the car maybe not - Wazari told in the engine topic the new engine won't be called a Honda, but its a Honda. so i think we're going to see Red Bull Powertrains on the side of the car next year.

Have Honda been working this year on making the engine better for 2022 especially with the new fuel coming in?

You said Red Bull Powertrains will get the Honda IP, they will not. They will be allowed to use it, but the IP will remain with Honda and Red Bull Powertrains won't get the full details (so they can transfer it to Audi!) by any means.

Honda Racing Corporation will continue to manufacture the power units in 2022, with Honda Racing F1 being combined with the MotoGP operation under the one name. :)

NHK to broadcast a two part Honda documentary.

NHK BS1 Special "Crown for the first time in 30 years! "Honda F1 Last Fight" will be broadcast on January 2, 2022 (Sun) with the following schedule.

Hopefully we finally see footage from Sakura with last lap reactions and celebrations.

No new development beyond 2025. I think that Honda Milton Keynes is integrated into Red Bull from 2022.

But its strange and big mistake for marketing.
