There's a small HRC logo at the back.
I see. It now says Oracle on the sidepodHoffman900 wrote: ↑09 Feb 2022, 18:01Placating sponsors and rabid fans. Social media buzz = sponsor attention = money
There is no point because it isn't a launch. It's all marketing fluff. The car will "launch" when it hits the track, not before.
This, it's so the sponsors can put it all over social media, pat each other on the back for their logo being seen on a F1 car, board members trying to justify expensive sponsorship to shareholders, etc.Just_a_fan wrote: ↑09 Feb 2022, 18:04There is no point because it isn't a launch. Hhaha you are technically correct there
It's really not a good bit of graphic design, is it? It doesn't stand out as a number 1 at all.
Yup. Though bc. Haas showed you might put up a render of an early development version of the real thing, having a physical model but of a show car now feels a bit like a letdown, admittedly. Not quite helped by the livery being just about identical apart from an admittedly important for team and sponsors red 1 (indeed not quite as instantly recognizable as you'd think they would make it though) and replacement of HONDA with ORACLE on the sidepods and now we still don't really know how it will look on the real thing. Oh well.
Nah, it's an old car now - this thing has been doing the rounds for months. Here it is last year albeit with a 4-part front wing rather than the 3-part one on Red Bull's "car":

Even the roll hoop air intake is the same shape.
